The best way to meet is in person, so if possible I will invite you to meet me in my studio in Raheny and hear all your plans and ideas. Otherwise we can connect remotely. I will discuss how I approach a wedding day and show you some sample albums so you can see how your pictures will look. You can tell me if you have concerns and also what really excites you. It’s a great way to get a feel for each other and work out if we are a good fit.
Booking a photographer is a big deal. It’s probably one of the most important decisions you will make. Not only is this person documenting the most important day of your life but they need to be sound too! After all you will be spending most of your big day hanging out with them! Once you are ready to book me, a booking fee is paid and a contract is signed. It’s as simple as that.
I will send you out some great emails in between booking and your wedding date. These will be filled with ideas you may not have thought about and will help you to have the perfect day. I am always at the end of the phone or email for questions or advice on suppliers etc. I am here for you! We will meet again a month before the big day to finalise all the details. By the time your wedding day comes you will be super prepared for it.
The Wedding Day
Get on that roller coaster and enjoy the ride! It’s going to be full of emotion, nerves, tears and laughter. I’m excited just writing these words! You can relax knowing I am capturing it all for you. My main aim will be to document this day to the max! Capturing all the people who have come to celebrate with you. I promise to give it my all.
What a blast! An amazing day had by all. All the stories and best moments. You will be so excited to see your photos! I aim to have your gallery ready to email within 6 weeks. I create a beautiful gallery just for you with a gorgeous slideshow of images set to music to share online. You can view and download your incredible gallery of quality images with pictures you never knew I captured. Pictures you will love to look at again and again.
“I remember over 4 years later, how just as my dad and I were about to walk up the aisle, you complimented my dress and it gave me such confidence, I’m literally emotional thinking how much you added to our day”
- Riona Clarke
Q. How do you approach the wedding day?
A. My main aim is that you enjoy the photo experience. I listen to you and work with you to make a plan, so everything runs really smoothly. I will not put you in awkward poses or make you feel uncomfortable. I am very much in the background throughout the day, looking for laughter and special moments.
Q. HOW LONG ARE YOU A WORKING PHOTOGRAPHER?
A. I started my business in 2000! Yes that’s a lot of weddings!
Q. How many photos do we recieve?
A. You will receive approx. 400 images in your gallery and to download. These are a mix of colour and BW images.
Q. When and how do we recieve the images?
A. You will get an email from me 4-6 weeks after your wedding with a link to your gorgeous online gallery. You can download your images directly from there.
Q. Can we give you a list of photos we want?
A. Yes of course but best to keep it short, so I am not missing all the spontaneous stuff that’s happening.
Q. Do you shoot video?
A. No. I can recommend some great videographers who I have worked with.
Q. I really hate getting my photo taken!
A. If I had a euro for every time I hear this, I’d be rich! You are not alone, believe me. I know how to talk with you to make you feel comfortable and get the best from you. I have done this before!! For 20 years!!
Q. Do you also do posed family photos?
A. Yes I usually always do a great set of family photos. These can also be natural too. I like to keep these to a minimum so it doesn’t take from your day.
Q. When do you arrive and how long do you stay?
A. I arrive approx. 2 hours before the ceremony and I finish when the dinner bell goes. I have options to stay longer if required. (subject to availability)
Q. Do you have an assistant?
A. No. I usually work on my own. I work quickly and always capture everything going on. I can organise a second shooter for you if you like though.
Q. Do you have a travel fee?
A. Yes I charge €40 per hour for all hours travelled to the wedding and back. (Charges apply from the greater Dublin area)
Q. Can we see your reviews?
A. Yes. I have some lovely reviews which I am really proud of, click here to read.
Q. What are the steps to book you for our date?
A. A booking fee of €500 is required to secure your date. This can be paid via Paypal, Credit card or direct lodgement to my account online.
